Temple Beth-El has many positive characteristics: caring clergy and staff, moving services, many tikun olam and educational opportunities for all ages, friendly congregants. Being an active member of this synagogue can enrich your life.
Temple Beth-El has been our Judaic home since 2001. We did not know many people when we joined but now some of our closest friends are those we met at Beth-El. Rabbi Helbraun and Cantor Rudnick are awesome and there is something for everyone - from Sisterhood game nights to game watching with the Mens' Club. Beth-El's commitment to Israel and social justice is unparalleled. Especially great for Reform Jews comfortable with tradition. Stop by and take a look, we would love to have you!
Since then, I’m delighted that we’ve been more involved at TB-E than I ever would have expected. We all feel truly a part of Temple Beth-El (and my son takes delight in attending religious school there)!
Our family are long time active members of the synagogue (over 27 years). We attend services 2-3 times a month, weekly morning minion services, and have been on the board of directors in various capacities for the majority of this time. We enjoy the longtime friendships that we have made, the caring community that has helped us to celebrate joyous occasions as well as comfort our family during times of personal loss. We feel "at home" when we enter the doors of the synagogue.
As the non-Jewish member of an interfaith couple, I was apprehensive when we first went to attend worship at a new synagogue, especially as we were auditioning this one as a possible site for my son to attend religious school.
Really glad I found this congregation. Super inclusive, tolerant, and dedicated to good deeds and good works. A wonderful place in every way.
I needn’t have worried. From the start, my family and I were warmly welcomed at Temple Beth-El. Attending Friday night Family Shabbat services was a wonderful introduction for us, where we got to know the energetic, accessible, and very knowledgeable rabbi and cantor, and met other families with children our son’s age.
