Update: After having a conversation with the regional manager as well as a manager at the Northbrook, IL location I was given the opportunity to come in and receive a wash up to the standards that I expected. This time extra detail was paid to ensure that every surface of the car was clean.
Maybe it was because I was dressed in clothes that are for working on the gutters or because the car is a Ford Flex or something else that made the employees think he won’t tip. Who knows, but I am extremely disappointed and simply want a refund. Yes there are pictures and yes they are nitpicking, again $35 plus tax when the hand was by my house charges $15.
Also worth mentioning are the car washes; I don't wash my car very often, but when I do from now on, I think I'll come to this place. Sure, it may be a little more expensive, but they do a spectacular job, cleaning not only the exterior well but the interior, too. Well worth the few extra dollars.
You don't know just how great a gas station can get until you go to Waterway. Sure, the gas is reasonably priced, the pumps are easy to use and never out of order, and the place is generally clean and well-kept, but what really makes Waterway special are the staff. I don't know how people can be so friendly after a long day of working at a gas station, but at Waterway, they can. Even when I'm just pumping gas, they at least come over and say hi and ask if I need anything. It's well worth paying the few extra cents per gallon just to come here and be with such nice people.
The location manager himself as well as a territory manager who was in town for Thanksgiving and stopped by to see the location took extra care to get the job done right. The car was perfect inside and out. We went through a quick walk around as well to ensure that everything was done correctly. I will be going back and expecting the same kind of wash from the regular employees in the future.
Quick way to get a thorough wash inside and out. Facility is super clean with a comfortable waiting area. Have some cash on hand for tipping as it's always appreciated.
Great to see that Waterway cares about their customers and reaches out when something has not gone right!
2. Vacuuming: At least the entire floor needs to be done. When you open either rear door on my car your eyes are immediately drawn to the leaves and debris underneath the front seats, really, is that not part of the interior. While I won’t argue about the cup holders and center console here the floor should have at least been completed.

I saw a lot of positive reviews, so I decided to come here. Took full service for 37$. I didn’t check how they cleaned my car inside. But than I checked when I drive home- everything was dirty. For 37$?!So I have to come back. They cleaned it. Windows are dirty - looks like they cleaned with dirty towels. But I waste my time to go back and forth. And by the way how is it possible to clean car in 15 min? Waste of time and money.
Paid for the Whole Thing package and did not receive it.
I showed up unexpectedly, after a problem with Natures Hand car wash. Where they kicked me out for asking that they use fresh mitts. Last time they left swirls. I was upset when I got to Waterway. But they took such good care of me for a hand wash. The car was immaculate. The rims had a bit of dirt but they didn't even blink about correcting it. Nice guys. And most importantly they did what I paid them to do.
3. Interior Wipe Down: This just plain wasn’t done. There are still dried rain spots on the rear door interior panels from last weekend dust marks from shoes working in dirt, and all sorts of other debris in the center console. I paid to have this cleaned and the folks did not do it.
1. Wash: Despite being automated attention needs to be paid by attendants to remaining dirt on a vehicle. My car still had visible dirt on the passenger side front door and behind every door handle. Yes I am being picky, $35 plus tax for a wash is quite a bit considering others I have paid for.
